Moroccan Holiday Part 2
This post is a bit long! Be warned!

Oh Hi! I'm back from Morocco and I had an absolutely amazing time and I thought I would share my holiday outfit choices with you guys! How fun!

I did have to cover up a bit when I was walking around but I didn't want to dress dowdily

So.. here's what I chose to wear on the second half of my holiday..hope you enjoy!
(press the pics to make 'em bigger)

Outfit One:
Black leotard - American Apparel
Peach midi skirt - ASOS
White belt - Charty shop
Black lace bandeau - River Island

I wear this black leotard all the time in the winter as a staple piece but this was a great way to bring it into my summer wardrobe! I really like it with this bright peach skirt, it made a nice evening outfit. The back of the leotard is really low so I had to put a little lace bandeau underneath!

Outfit Two:
Coral Shirt - River Island
Brown Jersey Maxi - River Island
Black skinny belt - Topshop

I wore this jersey maxi quite a lot while I was away because I felt the colour really worked! I like it with this coral top, I never would have put these two together normally but when I tried this I liked the palette, tres cute!

Outfit Three:
Brown jersey maxi skirt/dress - River Island
Brown and Gold belt- Topshop
Gold necklace - Tophop/diy
Black flatforms - River Island

Here's an evening outfit I put together to go for drinks with some friends while we were there. I decided to wear my maxi skirt as a dress, which is a great way to get more use out of one! I simply chucked a brown and gold belt round the middle and wore a chunky gold necklace and I thought it ended up as a pretty cute outfit! This is defo one of my fav outfits of the trip!

Outfit Four:
White vest - H&M
White bandeau - River Island
Peach silk skirt - Charity shop
Grey belt - Charity shop

Lastly I wore this outfit which I thought was really cute! I wore my peach silk midi from a charity shop and muy plain jersey vest, I put a little white bandeau underneath and it turned out pretty nicely! I really like the lighter colour palette in this outfit :)

Hope you're all well!

Moroccan Holiday- Part One!

This post is a bit long! Be warned!

Oh Hi! I'm back from Morocco and I had an absolutely amazing time and I thought I would share my holiday outfit choices with you guys! How fun!

I did have to cover up a bit when I was walking around but I didn't want to dress dowdily (is dowdily a word? I don't think so.. it's not coming up on spell check so.. Well it is now)

So.. here's what I chose to wear on the first half of my holiday..hope you enjoy!
(press the pics to make 'em bigger)

Outfit One-
Black tank top - h&m
Peach silk skirt - Charity Shop
Pastel scarf - Market
Necklace - Topshop

This was an evening outfit in Essaouira I wore this peach silk skirt I bought in a charity shop a week before for  around £3-£4 (bargain) I paired it with a simple vest top and the pastel scarf I bought in the markets of Marrakesh

I also wore it with this necklace - I bought this at topshop and it had lots of gold dangley bits hanging off it but I decided I didn't like them anymore so I broke them all off! ..I like it now!)

Outfit Two -
Peach Jersey shirt - River Island
Floral trousers - Primark
Blue plimsoles - Primark
Brown belt - River Island
Sunnies - Beyond Retro

This is an outfit I wore to walk around the Souks in Marrakesh.. I love these flower print cotton trousers I bought from Primark those paired with the blue plimsoles I'm wearing were some of my star holiday shopping buys!

Outfit Three-
Nude jersey long sleeve top - Topshop
Peach silk skirt - Charity shop
White/Grey reversible belt - Charity Shop
Sunglasses - Beyond Retro
Hand of fatima earrings - Essaouira Souk

This is another outfit from Essaouira wearing the same peach skirt but this time with a long sleeve nude top for the  daytime, so that I could be a bit more covered up when I was walking around the Souks.

I wore it with this belt I bought in a charity shop that my boyfriend actually pointed out is reversible and I never realised before! I have always worn it the other way (as a grey belt) but I spent a lot of the holiday wearing it the white way and it felt like a whole new belt :) (it's the little things!)

Outfit Four -
Black and White stripe bikini - Primark
White chiffon Caftan - (Mum's wardrobe - I dunno, I can find out if you really want to know)
Sunnies- Beyond Retro

This is on the rooftop of our Riad in Essaouira where I was free to wear some more revealing - 'holiday-ish' clothes.

This is actually a sheer white Caftan my mum lent me for the trip! It looked super chic with my classic black and white striped bikini and new Russian Red lipstick by MAC, I am a happy bunny.

Outfit Five -
Peach jersey shirt -River Island
Turquoise cotton trousers - Primark
Polka dot flip flops - Primark
Sunnies - Beyond Retro

Another star buy here from Primark - these green/turquoise cotton trousers were fantastic on this holiday - they kept me cool but also covered up and also led to some much more colourful outfit choices from me too! I was glad to step of my pinky\nude or black\grey shell and into this coral and turquoise ensemble :) great for covering up on the beach too!

Look!.. It also looks good on a camel! :)

More to come!

1920's

My head accessory for the 20's night!

some friend's sporting their 20's style

20's lads

Oh Hi!

Recently I went to a 1920's themed evening, It was so much fun! We dressed up accordingly and I thought I'd post our costumes up on here :)

I went for a darker 1920's flapper vibe with a black H&M flapper dress and some Henry Holland for Pretty Polly suspender tights, I accessorised with a beaded head piece which i actually got at Claire's Accessories! (Although I don't recommend going to buy anything there.. I thought it would be cheap and cheerful but this  piece actually set me back £9.00 and broke instantly!! I had to sew it back together before I even left the house! Ok.. Rant over haha)

My friend Lizzie went for a lighter look with this absolutely gorgeous cream beaded dress from River Island which fitted the theme really well and really was so beautiful (I had dress envy) .Her token strings of pearls and a cute pearl head band complete the look!

The boys went for a dapper look of white shirts, braces and different head wear.. V.chic boys!

In Other News:

cute!

I'm going on Holiday! YAY! I'm going to Morocco for a week and a half and I'm so excited. In preparation I bought these little pink espadrilles to walk around the dusty town in instead of flip flops.. they cost me £3.00 from Asda! I was so chuffed with my purchase and not only are they cheap they are also so cute, check out the little Zebras printed on them!

Anyway,

hope all's lovely where you are!
See you when I get back from my holiday!

The Rooftops of London

the chimneys on the roof!

my lookbook pic :http://lookbook.nu/look/3885198-The-Rooftops-of-London

full look and a pout.. why not?

This is just an Outfit Of The Day (ootd) post,

I spent the weekend at my brothers flat in East London and it has an amazing roof terrace where I sunbathed all day! I went to a few shops and stuff during the day so I wore this brown maxi but tied it to the side because it was so sunny! I just wore a bandeau as a top which meant no tan lines on my shoulders! I think you can get away with wearing just a bandeau as long as you are wearing something *very* high waisted and it's really hot! haha

anyway hope the sun is shining where you are!

 Dreamy Days

My ootd

shades shot

sorting my hair out shot

Hello,I'm still enjoying the summer sun and I put together this little ensemble

I did get a little sunburnt yesterday (silly Dusk) and so I've had to cover up a bit more today, however, it's still boiling hot so I decided on this cropped long sleeve T-shirt from Forever 21 which is a lovely blush/nude colour and makes me feel like a ballerina when I wear it!

In keeping with the ballerina theme I wore this chiffon Midi length skirt which is a beautiful skirt to wear on a summers day because its thin but still makes you look rather sophisticated! I used to hate Midi length skirts on me but I've grown to really like the length, I think it adds a 'grown up' feeling to an outfit.

Hot Summer Days in White

At last British summer has arrived! It's so hot here in London and I found it the perfect opportunity to pull out this white see through Jersey maxi dress from Forever 21. I've mentioned before how this waterfall shape skirt is so over popular in High Street shops at the moment but its a great way for shorter people to wear a maxi skirt without looking swamped. I love this one as its made of a really cool textured Jersey, however, as it is see through I hadn't found anything to wear it with.. In the end I chucked it over a long simple jersey vest top from H&M and it worked a charm. Just add a belt and sandals and you're ready to face the hot summer sun. PERFECT.

In Other News

I finally bought Essie nail polish in Mint Candy Apple and I haven't regretted it a bit - it's such a pretty colour! As soon as I went out with it on a waitress in a restaurant fawned over its prettiness, therefore leaving me to believe the £7.99 price tag was in fact worth it...hm.

Hope it's sunny where you are too!

Skulls and Studs

Today I'm hand studding denim and jersey t-shirts with skulls and studs for The Dressing Room Boutique!  To go on sale soon!

We're going to have studded denim vests and cut off denim shorts, we're hoping to do some galaxy fabric painting on the shorts too!  Watch this space!

I'm also planning on doing some tie-dying and dip-dying so its all getting very crafty for me this week :)

These are just some pictures from my instagram from the days work (@duskw)

I shall be putting up an outfit post + some styling shots for the clothes I'm making within the week!

It's all a bit too exciting isn't it?
